LOGIC & BRANCHING

The form only shows the questions that matter

The answer picks the next question. The person sees only the fields, emails, and screens they need.

No code required Pages stay chapters Same builder
Short answer

How logic works in a form

Logic decides what to show next. An answer opens the right questions, pages, and screens after submit. The person does not see every field at once. It is set up with the page flow and rules in the builder, without code.

How it works

How it works for you

  1. The form as a scenario

Each page is a chapter: a block of questions, not a single quiz step. The diagram works the same in one-question-at-a-time mode.

  2. All in one place

Field conditions, the page diagram, emails, redirects and results live side by side. No jumping between menus.

  3. The answer picks the path

A condition checks answers and follows the yes or no branch. Then the person lands on the right chapter.

What it can do

What form logic changes

01

Page diagram

The diagram shows where the person will go. A condition checks answers and follows the yes or no branch.

02

Page branching

Different answers, different chapters. The same transitions work without one-question-at-a-time mode.

03

Field conditions

On the current page a field can be shown, hidden or filled. The condition list is built from fields with an entered value.

04

Answer choices

You can hide one item in a list, not the whole field.

05

Redirect

After submit the person can land on different URLs, based on answers.

06

Notifications and results

A different email body or subject based on answers. Separate screens after submit can be set too.

CLEAR ANSWERS

Questions about logic

How branches, fields and emails follow the answer.

Is this only for quizzes?
No. Conditions and transitions work in any multi-page form: leads, surveys, booking, quizzes. A quiz is one scenario, not the only one. Online Quiz Maker.
Is the diagram only for a huge form?
No. If there are more than two pages, you can link them with yes and no branches. On a short two-page form, field conditions are enough.
How is the page diagram different from field conditions?
The page diagram chooses which page to show next. Field conditions decide what happens on the current page: show or hide a field, show or hide a choice, or fill a value. Redirects, emails and SMS are set separately in the same logic settings.
How does this relate to one-question-at-a-time mode?
Pages stay chapters of the flow. The respondent goes through the current page one question at a time, then the same conditions pick the next chapter. One-question-at-a-time mode does not turn the diagram off. One question at a time.
Can redirects and emails change based on answers?
Yes. A different URL, a different email body or subject, based on answers. Separate result screens after submit can be set too.
Can I hide one choice instead of the whole field?
Yes. You can show or hide a single choice in a list, in single or multiple choice. If the whole field is hidden, its choices are hidden too.
Does shuffling work together with the page diagram?
No. If pages are linked on the diagram, the form follows the diagram and shuffling is off. When there are no branches, you can turn on random order and pin pages first and last.
