How to connect MCP

In your account, create an OAuth application with the "forms" scope and the redirect URIs required by your AI client.

Add the MCP server to your client
In Claude.ai or ChatGPT — a custom connector with the server URL. In Cursor or Claude Code — config with the endpoint URL.

Authorize in the browser
On first connection, complete OAuth in the browser — the AI client will receive an access token and can work with your forms.

How is the AI assistant different from MCP Connector?
AI assistant is a built-in tool for all users in the account. MCP Connector connects FormDesigner to external AI clients (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT) via OAuth.
How do I revoke MCP access?
Delete the OAuth application in your account profile or disable the connector in your AI client settings.
How is MCP Connector different from REST API?
